Dear Fellow Wisdom Hunter,
What a gracious and great God we love and serve. This Thanksgiving season is an opportune time to extend our gratitude to the Lord for His loving kindness and bountiful blessings. God’s generosity is indeed, both grand and glorious. He is truly awesome:
“You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!” (Psalm 68:35).
Many of you have expressed gratitude to the Lord for the encouragement from His word delivered daily in the Wisdom Hunters devotional. These writings are simply one hungry heart for God sharing life’s experiences, as they intersect with Scripture’s truth. One Wisdom Hunter board member described it from this relevant verse in Acts 26:16 (NLT):
I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. You are to tell the world what you have seen and what I will show you.
Because of God’s favor and valuable feedback from our growing readership, we are in the process of expanding the ministry’s resources to include a Wisdom Finder search feature on our home page. This will allow you to discover topics like love, marriage, children, work, heaven, hell, salvation, forgiveness, etc and related scripture passages from past Wisdom Hunter writings beginning in 2004. Our goal is to complete this project by March 2011 and will notify you upon completion.
We are in the process of evaluating what resources our readers would like to go deeper into with the Lord. Books, booklets, e-books and calendars are on our research and development list. These projects require financial investment and ongoing support.

I respectfully ask you to PLEASE consider not growing too fast or too broad in your offerings. I love the simplicity of what you offer … insights into God’s Word and how it applies to our lives.
In this day and age, that simple task may not look grand compared to other ministries and organizations. Yet, it is something that is truly needed in the crowded “space” that exists in our lives today.
Your site gets right to the point, and a person does not get lost in having too many options. Having recently discovered your website, it has become a valued daily habit, and is now the basis for a long series of “lessons” in our men’s small group in church.
