Since I was in college, I've found myself continually seeking, hunting, for God's truth. And the beautiful reality of my own hunt was that God was continually seeking after me: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost" (Luke 19:10). More than twenty years ago, I began sharing my personal reflections on God's work in my life with others, hoping it might encourage friends and draw them closer to Christ. What began as a personal discipline has become a daily devotional reaching a hundred thousand people across 86 countries, from rural Uganda to South Korea to Atlanta.
In recent years, this work has grown beyond just me. Tripp Prince and Mez Stead now write alongside me each week, and Jill, Martha, Pat, and Shana each bring their own voice to our Sunday devotionals. Together, we're seven people committed to the same daily discipline: seeking God's truth and sharing what we find.
This ministry has never charged a single person to read, and that is not our plan. But it isn't free to produce. The daily devotional, the podcast, and the Wisdom Guides all require a team, infrastructure, and focused time.
