Connecting People to Christ

Written by Wisdom Hunters

Dear Fellow Wisdom Hunter,

We are extremely grateful to God for your faithful readership of the daily devotional. The Lord continues to bless with significant growth from 5,200 readers a year ago to 53,435 readers today. Wisdom Hunters is a non-profit ministry blessed with a prayerful board of directors, who steward well this—the Lord’s ministry. After much prayer and planning we believe He is leading us in the following ways:

Vision

Connect people to Christ through God’s Word.

Goal

By the end of 2011 trust God for 100,000 global and U.S. readers of the daily devotional.

I cannot thank you enough for today’s dose. Oddly enough, I just started subscribing this week. I guess God knew this was coming and I needed this. Often these pains are lived with alone, silently. Yet our Savior is the only one who really needs to know. Today’s dose eloquently defined what I’ve been searching to explain for over a year now. You have no idea how much this will help, both outward as I minister with others and inward as I heal deep wounds with thick scars. Thank you. – Kay

  1. April says:

I suffered a minor stroke in September, which led to several other medical issues. I was finally taken off work in November by my doctors (I work in law enforcement, and have subsequently been diagnosed with seizure disorder and cannot drive nor carry my weapon), among other conditions. The daily scripture has been a spiritual uplift for me. I have been sharing it with 4 young women, all of whom have been going through their own struggles. Each one has thanked me for sharing the daily devotionals. Sadly, since I haven’t been working, I haven’t been making my wages, and we’ve been living off my husband’s earnings. This makes us both very grateful for everything we have, and also makes us live on less. I cannot thank you enough for the daily devotions, as I look forward to them each day. I start each day with prayer, then open the computer, eager to read the devotions. May God bless your ministry, for it has surely blessed me. April Arambasich in Illinois
