Written by Wisdom Hunters

Andy Stanley Interviews Boyd Bailey on relating to a distant dad.

  1. As a “”survivor” of physical abuse and being nearly beat to death by own father, I could identify with a lot of what was being said. I always forgave my father and when he passed away two years ago, he knew I loved him, I prayed for and with him throughout his illnesses. I do not miss him like I do my mother, but yes I do miss him. I truly enjoyed listening to this interview.

Your heart for forgiveness towards your dad is such a beautiful example of God’s Love in you. I can only imagine this Light that you shine helps others around you to realize the power of forgiveness and the ONE who empowers you with that forgiveness! Thank you, Linda, for shining HIS light!

I have listened to this interview a few times now and it just a great reminder of the power of forgiveness and grace that abounds through our Heavenly Father. So thankful for our Father in Heaven who loves us through it all!
